Lessons cannot be cancelled where a customer intends to retain a space, payment of each week retains the space. These lessons can instead be subject to a Catch Up Lesson.
On any occasion the pool cannot provide you with your swimming lesson our variable Direct Debit will ensure the customer is not paying for lessons which cannot be undertaken by Little Swimming Co. Examples of this include, instructor cancellation, instructor holidays, or during our Christmas Closure.
Little Swimming Co. will endeavour to provide the same swimming teacher continuously for each customer. In the event of management illness, annual leave or any other unavailability, Little Swimming Co. will provide a replacement instructor. A refund will not be offered if an alternative instructor is offered and declined by the customer. In the unlikely event an alternative teacher cannot be found then a refund will be offered.
Catch Up Slot Terms-
Please note catch up lessons are not guaranteed, catch up lessons are a good will gesture to ensure swimmers are able to progress as they would without missing lessons, where lessons have been cancelled our instructors are still paid for their time and our overheads are still ongoing when a customer cannot attend a lesson.

Catch up slots are not guaranteed with the same instructor teaching a regular session, where possible catch up slots can be allocated with a regular instructor. Refusal where the current instructor is not possible will mean forfeiting a catch up slot.
As you can appreciate there is a high amount of administrative effort required when organizing catch up slots, we see the benefit to try where possible to ensure the most consistency with your child’s lesson. In consideration letting us know you aren’t able to make a regular space allows us to keep this catch up system ongoing for everyone to benefit.
The maximum number of catch up sessions that can be taken are 2 in any three month period.
Where swimmers fall ill or suffer injury and will be absent for a considerable period of time, a lesson space will still need to be paid for in order to retain the space, an alternate swimmer can fill their space, or catch up lessons at the administrations discretion can be arranged.
Catch up lessons will not be refunded. These are not ‘owed’ to any customer.
Catch up lessons are also not permitted to be used as part of a swimmers regular time space.
